Our commitment
Florida Food Watch is working to improve the accessibility of FloridaFoodWatch.com and aims to align the website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we expect to continue testing and improving the website as its content and features change.
Measures we take
Our accessibility work includes efforts to:
- Use meaningful page structure, headings, labels, and instructions.
- Support keyboard navigation and visible keyboard focus.
- Provide text alternatives for informative images when appropriate.
- Maintain readable color contrast, text sizing, and responsive layouts.
- Make forms understandable and identify errors in text.
- Review new features with automated checks and manual testing when practical.
Known limitations
Some older content, third-party services, embedded material, linked government records, or documents outside our direct control may not yet provide the same level of accessibility. If a page or item is difficult to use, please contact us so we can review the barrier and, when reasonably possible, provide the information or service in another accessible way.
Request assistance or an accommodation
Use the Florida Food Watch contact form and select Accessibility or accommodation. Please tell us:
- The page address or feature you were trying to use.
- The barrier you experienced.
- The assistance or alternate format you need.
- Your browser, device, or assistive technology, if you are comfortable sharing it.
The contact form is the preferred way to reach us. If the form itself is inaccessible or unavailable, email [email protected].
Report a website problem
For a bug or technical issue that is not an accommodation request, use the contact form with “Report a problem” selected. Include the page address, what happened, what you expected, and your browser or device when possible. Do not send passwords or sensitive account information.
